Ronnie Lerma Classic Car & Motorcycle Show

The Garland Fraternal Order of Police is once again inviting you to the 9^th Annual Ronnie Lerma Car and Motorcycle Show benefiting the Special Olympics.

This event was established in memory of Garland Police Officer Ronnie "Animal" Lerma who was killed in the line of duty in a traffic accident on September 21st, 1998.

Because of Ronnie’s passion for older cars this memorial event evolved. The event will be held at Bass Pro @ 5001 Bass Pro Drive, Garland, Texas 75043 on Saturday May 30, 2009  Times will be announced.

9^th Annual T-shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event. There will be 24 Classes being judged by the even participants with Trophies being presented to the 1st and 2nd place winners for each class.

The Classes this year are as follows: Muscle Car, Street Rods & Roadsters, Corvette Class, Pre-50’s Car, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s & Newer, Open Car Class, Pre-60’s Truck, 60’s, 70's, 80’s, 90’s & newer, Open Truck, Convertable Class, Harley Stock, Harley Custom, Open Motorcycle, & Rat Motorcycle Class.

In addition, there will be Best of Show awards in each of the Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Classes. The Kids Choice Overall winner will be awarded a Special Trophy, and the Best of the Best will receive the biggest award of the day.

The cost of the event is $15.00 if you Pre-Registration before May 23, 2009 (postmarked via mail to P.O. Box 495544, Garland, Texas 75049.

Get there early for the best spaces. Vendors will also be on display along with Bounce houses for the kids. A 50/50 Drawing will be held along with Door Prize Give-A-Ways announced every hour. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!!!

100% of ALL PROCEEDS will benefit the Special Olympics
